This is the deal I’m about to close the deal and now my realtor says that the house has a water filter system. The current owners want to take it away. Can I demand to keep it??? or they got the legal right to take away.

Apparently my fuel has water in it due to condensation. When removing the Briggs fuel filter, water poured out of it. Did the filter “shut down” the flow so water did not reach carb? Related question: is is adequate to drain bottom portion of fuel tank until no water is visible in the liquid being draned. I’d rather not have to dispose of the entire batch of gasoline if all the water collected at the bottom as would be expected.

Ok I want to put a filter on my fridge icemaker line, then split it so filtered water goes into my icemaker in the freezer, then a line comes out to the countertop next to the fridge, where there’s no sink. I need a splitter.. and a valve of some sort. Can I do this? What parts do I need
I’ll be going to a foreign country this summer. Is there like a specific device I can buy to filter the water? I’d also like this device to get past airport security, I wouldn’t want it to be confiscated.

I have to do a project where i filter water fleas from a home made water filtration devise. I was wondering what household materials are good for filtering water.
I bought a pur water filter for my faucet about a year ago and there is a crack in it. I’ve tried removing it with but it won’t move. I have even tried pliers. Any advice on how ot remove it.
I just got a nice water filter, but I am not sure if I can drink water straight from the filter. My filter connects directly to the tap water source. Someone told me that I need to boil the water before I drink it. My filter clears .5 micron particles as well as other metals and chlorine. Thanks!!!!
We never had this problem until about a year ago. Our water filter jug gets a film of grey around the rim inside the top and has to be scrubbed daily. I regularly have to wipe the underside of the cold water taps or we get black bits in the sinks and bath.
The loo looks awful because the black comes down under the rim and seems to cling to the porcelain. I get through no end of bleach but it doesn’t seem to stop it or clear it. I’ve put bleach & limescale blocks in the tank. I’ve used under rim blocks in the loo and limescale removers but these don’t stop this black stuff. It seems to cling no matter what I do. Even scrubbing the bottom of the inside of the loo doesn’t shift it all.
What the heck is this black stain? Should we be reporting it to Severn Trent Water Authority who supply water in this area? Could it be a health hazard?
Has anyone else experienced this and can give me some advice, please?
Just wondering if a charcoal water filter on a fridge remove fluoride from the water?
I have 2 goldfish and I’m wondering if the sound of the water dripping into their tank from the water filter bothers them and if I should turn it of once in a while.
Also I would like to know why every time I change 75% of the water in the tank, I get a bacterial bloom?
i have a 2.5 gallon tank and a whisper water filter… the filter sucks in water from the bottom, the water goes through the filter, and is released back out from the top like a little waterfall. but , im afraid that mi fish will get stuck to the bottom of the filter and die (like one of them already did=( ) Please help me, i don’t mi fish to die!!!!
I’ve heard that the ingestion of fluoride isn’t good for you, and I’m looking for a good quality filter to remove the fluoride from my drinking water.
or is it better to buy bottled water?
How many impurities do water filters remove and what’s a good kind of water filter to buy?

The instructions say you should throw away the first two lots of water to go through a new filter. Why is this? What are the dangers of drinking the water from the first two flushes?

I bought a paragon 10,000 gallon water filter from Sears for $60.00 and the part that screws into the faucet sprays water. The unit came with 3 different rubber washers, and I tried each of them, and it still sprays water. This particular water filter screws into the faucet, and the water base sits on the countertop, and is good for a whopping 10,000 gallons which is cool, but I can’t seem to stop the darn water from spraying out where it screws the water diverter into the faucet! I am hoping that someone out there who has had a similar problem knows how to fix it, or is a plumber or understands how to correct this problem. Thanks and I look forward to reading your answers. Thanks!
