I have a Pur facet mount and took the filter out only to realize I didn’t have another one. The idea was to keep it in for a few days until I got another one… that was over a month ago.
the water seems fine, what effects or how much impurities could i be consuming… or do you think it’s fine.

We use to have the flaucet mount as well, do you have the one with the Blue Filter? Thats what we had and our filters lasted for about 3 months before they needed changing. If you take out your filter all the impurities that you where not getting before your getting them in full force now. And if you left the old filter in your still getting them if not a bit more that floats thru and wont stick to the filtered stuff already.
Here is what I use to do, mark the date I bought it on the calender, keep an eye on it til the black stripe begain to form then I counted 2 weeks ahead of that and bought my new filter before I had marked I needed one. This system worked for me if your up for trying it.
