Is there any way that I can clean my water filter for my frigidaire side by side refrigerator? The ice & water do not taste very good anymore. I dont want to buy a new filter if i dont have to.

Replacement. they contain activated charcoal to help remove undesirable tastes – not “Cleanable”.
Buy a new filter. They can’t be cleaned……..they are mainly charcoal and filters.
No I don’t think they can be cleaned…I know they are expensive but they do last a long time….If it could be cleaned believe me …..my tightwad husband would have figured out a way……….
