I have a Pur facet mount and took the filter out only to realize I didn’t have another one. The idea was to keep it in for a few days until I got another one… that was over a month ago.
the water seems fine, what effects or how much impurities could i be consuming… or do you think it’s fine.

Ok I want to put a filter on my fridge icemaker line, then split it so filtered water goes into my icemaker in the freezer, then a line comes out to the countertop next to the fridge, where there’s no sink. I need a splitter.. and a valve of some sort. Can I do this? What parts do I need

I saw this piece of light brown cardboard looking round material along with the water filter we bought for the water dispenser. Is it asbestos? Which is the best water filter, the one fitted with faucet? Or the one found in the water dispenser unit?

I’m thinking of investing in an under sink water filter that you need a plumber to fit, one that removes nitrates etc. I’ve read that they make the water softer too. Has anybody got any recommendations. I think you have to replace it every 12 months and you get a partial refund. Any advice appreciated!

The tap water at my school has a lot of chlorine in it and brita filters don’t take the taste out. I was wondering is zero water filtered out the chlorine taste.

I have a Brita filter that goes in the fridge and sometimes the carbon particles used to clean the water end up in the bottom of glass. Is this or can this be unhealthy ?

i have a brita filter and i change the cartridge regularly but i notice the water in this area still tastes horrible! it’s like drinking from a fishtank, my room mate has a dupont filter and that tastes fine, which filter gives the best tasting water in your opinion? or is there anything i can do to make my filter work better?

okay, i live in an apartment and i don’t really know what kind of water filter that i should use for all the water such as sink, shower, and bath. i did find one that is for the whole house so i don’t know if it’s only for houses, not apartments or it just doesn’t matter? ahh, help! thanks.

I opened a Pur water filter replacement, and there was some water inside. Are they usually wet? I remember them being pretty dry and you had to soak them. Do you think moisture got into the package? There was enough water for there to be droplets on the filter and package.

I have a science project where i need to filter water. I plan to boil it, but i can’t boil it with sand and other solids. We’re going to Orlando/Bahamas in August/September and I am against bottled water for obvious reasons, and I’m not too keen on drinking their water, because I’m used to Oregon water which is super clean and what not.
Is there a semi compact water filter that I can take with me? I don’t want to take the huge Brita pitcher, so yeah!

I’ll be going to a foreign country this summer. Is there like a specific device I can buy to filter the water? I’d also like this device to get past airport security, I wouldn’t want it to be confiscated.

I know the particles aren’t harmless, but they’re not supposed to get into the jug where I pour my water from.
What’s causing this? Sign that I need a new filter maybe? It’s been happening since I put it in 2 months ago though.
